session retainer fee
Your session retainer fee* covers our appointment together. It secures your preferred date and the time and preparation of the photography session. The session retainer fee is due at time of booking and is non-refundable, but can be applied toward another session in the case of illness or emergency.

at the time of your gallery delivery, you will select a collection
Collections include digital files, gallery credit to use toward products, and/or specific products conveniently grouped together to take away the stress of trying to create your own wall art group.

a la carte items are available after collection purchase
After you've selected your Collection, you can add products such as loose prints, framed prints, wall art, image folios and albums.
All family sessions include a complimentary set of 4x6 standard prints!

My aim is for you to be delighted by both the process and the images we make together.
Q. What does your session retainer fee include?
The session retainer fee includes all the things necessary for your appointment - securing your preferred day/time, gallery site hosting, editing time, analog film costs, and administrative costs. This fee is non-refundable but can be transferred to another session appointment. In a sense, this is your "walk away price" in the event that you don't love your photos (even though I'm certain you absolutely will!)
Q. What sessions follow this pricing structure?
Family sessions, extended family sessions ("legacy sessions"), maternity sessions, and newborn sessions are all set up with this step-by-step pricing process. I also offer special package pricing for Baby Milestone photography that can include maternity, Fresh 48, newborn, and First Year sessions. Please contact me for more information regarding Milestone packages!
Q. Why is your pricing different than other photographers?
Many photographers opt for an all-inclusive pricing structure for their sessions, and for many years I did, too. But I feel that I'm now offering something better, with Collections at many price points, that fit many budgets. I found that my clients thought they wanted all-inclusive pricing but have embraced that Collections encourage using and printing their photos, instead of letting them sit on a computer drive. I want for you to enjoy the photos!

Q. Are digital files included in your session retainer fee?
Digital files are not included in the session retainer fee, but various quantities of digital file fownloads are included in the Collections I offer. Please reach out for a detailed pricing guide!
Q. What payment options do you accept?
Session retainer fees, Collection payments, and product purchases are processed online via the booking page or online gallery site. However, if you would like to pay with check or cash, that can be done if you contact me ahead of time.
Q. What is your refund policy?
I want for you to absolutely love the experience and the photos we create. I am very interested in you being delighted with the process, and I would like the opportunity to make things right. Session retainer fees are non-refundable. Product and Collection sales are also non-refundable. If you are unhappy with a product or with the images with your session, I will re-order or re-shoot until you are content.
